Review card terms
These terms cover NexTech review cards and the Subscriber plan, sold by NexTech Innovations LLC, a New York company (“we”), to the business that buys them (“you”). Buying cards or starting the plan means you accept them.
1. The card
- The cards are tap only. Each one has an NFC chip and no QR code: tapping it with a phone opens a link on nextechinnovationsllc.com, which sends the person on to your business’s page.
- Cards come in white or black. You choose when you buy them.
- You pay for cards once, at the price we agree when you buy them, plus sales tax where it applies.
- Every card sends people to your Google review page, with or without the plan. That never costs anything more for as long as we run the service.
2. The Subscriber plan: $19.99 a month
- The plan is $19.99 a month plus sales tax where it applies, billed monthly in advance to the payment method you give us, from the day it starts. The price can change, with at least 30 days’ notice (section 4).
- You choose where your cards send people: your Google review page, or another page of yours, such as your Instagram, a menu, an event or an offer. Tell us and we make the change as soon as we can.
- On request, we tell you how many times your cards were tapped, day by day.
- The plan covers every card you have from us.
3. Cancel any time
- Tell us by phone or text at the number in section 8, by email, or in person. The plan ends at the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund part of a month.
- When the plan ends, your cards go straight back to your Google review page. They keep working.
4. Price changes
We tell you at least 30 days before the monthly price changes. If you don’t want the new price, cancel before it starts.
5. Where cards may send people
- Every person who taps a card goes to the same place. We never send people somewhere based on what they think of you, and we will not set up a card to do it.
- We won’t point a card at a page that is unlawful or misleading, asks for passwords or payment details under false pretenses, or breaks Google’s review policies. If a page becomes one, we may switch the card back to your review page and tell you why.
- Google does not allow offering anything in return for a review or asking only happy customers for one. Following Google’s rules in your business is up to you.
6. What a tap records
When a card is tapped we record which card and the time. Nothing about the person: no name, no IP address, no location and no device details.
7. If something goes wrong
- We work to keep every card working, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable, for example during an outage at our hosting provider. If a card stops working because of a fault on our side, tell us and we fix it or replace the card.
- If a card is lost or misused, tell us and we switch it off. Replacement cards are sold like new ones.
- If we ever stop running the service, we tell you at least 30 days ahead and refund any plan payment for time after it stops.
- Our total liability for anything to do with the cards or the plan is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
8. General
- New York law governs these terms, and the state and federal courts in Rockland County, New York, decide any dispute about them.
- If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we tell subscribers by email at least 30 days ahead. Price changes follow section 4.
